The obvious use for that spare steel pole

that was lying around in the basement.

I probably should post a picture that indicates the method of construction for our home pull-up/chin-up bar. Alas, I didn't get a picture of that sort, being distracted by the hot guy doing pull-ups on my back porch and all.
